Terms and Conditions

The event
The Dutch Search Awards event in 2023, to be held in Utrecht, is a gala evening during which awards will be presented to the winners determined by the professional jury in each category and in each component.

The tickets
Ordering, refunding and canceling tickets is done via Eventbrite.

• Jury members: Jury members of the Dutch Search Awards are entitled to one free ticket.
• Partners: Partners of the Dutch Search Awards are entitled to four or two free tickets, depending on the partner package purchased. Purchasing the Gold package comes with four tickets, the Silver package with two.
• Nominees: Nominees in all categories except Best Software or Tool are eligible to receive two or one free ticket(s), depending on their position within the shortlist.

The Dutch Search Awards
The organizer of the event is the Dutch Search Awards, also a trade name of the Dutch Search Awards B.V. i.o., established in Utrecht, registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 60831952.

The award(s)
A symbolic and honorable recognition of the participant’s expertise in their field by the professional jury by means of a trophy.

The participation
Submitting a case, so that a participant’s case is assessed by the professional jury and competes for the awards at the applicable price.

The participant(s)
The person who has submitted a case and whose participation has been confirmed by the Dutch Search Awards, which thus qualifies as an agreement between the parties.

The entry or the entries
The submission of a case that meets the requirements stated in the entry form.

The professional jury
A panel of skilled individuals with experience in the search marketing industry will use the submissions to create a shortlist of nominees, to be announced on October 20, 2023, from which the winners will then be announced at the event.

The winner(s) in Excellence
The nominees in the Excellence categories are determined by the professional jury on the basis of a points system. This points system consists of a number of components, including the number of cases submitted, the individual scores achieved with these cases and the popularity of the categories in which the cases were submitted.

The total number of points obtained counts for 50% of the final result. Because the Excellence categories are public awards, the votes of the public count for the other half. In the weeks leading up to the ceremony, the public casts their vote(s).
